This brilliant king of Corinth
is quite kind and charming, but also very stubborn. He works hard to improve
the living conditions in his kingdom, through inventions and clever planning.
But he also works hard to avoid any threat to his own well-being. This
includes elaborate schemes to avoid death and the need for total secrecy
about his spellcasting ability. Practically unique in the known world,
