Greek vase with Xena

A rare multiple Xena motif on this vase. From right to left: seated Destroyer of Nations with Chakram, Xena the archangel with celestial sword, and to the left Xena the mother, breast-feeding her child. Since Solan was given away at birth, the infant is probably Eve. Note the cross on the lower row of spirals, immediately below the archangel image, alluding to the crucifixion preceding her angelic ascension.
Apulian lekythos by the Suckling Painter, BM F 107, from Anxia. RVAp I, 395, 1. About 360 BC. Now in the British Museum.
